Saw your info. in the Business Mag. Have thought of doing this myself as I have spent a lot of time exploring Montreal over the last 10 years. I do most of my Groc. shopping at Jean Talon Mkt. Have a list & cards of at least 30 plus resturants mostly bring your own wine etc that I have been to. you should look in to I Musichi de Montreal at Oglvey’s Dept Store, Le Scence on line. the deal at The Hotel de La Mongage over the Xmas holidays etc. plus the Saturday reviews of all of the different resturants by Lesley Chesterman & others.

Its a great city.

Thanks, Christine. It is a very nice looking blog, with lots of information. I subscribe, and I also follow the Editor’s Diary to see where Montreal editor Marianne Wisenthal has been, both in Montreal and out.

Thanks, Christine! GG is one of the most elegant chocolatiers in Montreal. And - she is one of 12 delicious stops on my Chocolate Lovers’ self-guided tour. The last time I was there, I tasted a chai flavored ganache, and one made with 12 year old balsamic vinegar. Mmm…

Just found another “chocolate” address in Montreal: Chocolats Grandbois. The chocolates look delicious! They have 3 addresses including “Le bar à chocolat”… quite a name! Tempting, no?
